Luisa Noriega Montiel (Madrid, 1961) has been the founder and director of the LLEI D’ART international publishers, specialised in arts and humanities, since its creation in 2007. With a degree in Biology and a specialism in biochemistry, in 1989 she founded a publishing company under whose aegis over 180 titles were translated and published. She is a international art commissioner and critic (a member of the Spanish and International Association of Art Critics). Trained as a writer for over three years in the Barcelona Athenaeum’s Writing School, she can speak French (Diplôme de Langue Française/Diplôme de la Chambre de Commerce de Paris from the Institut Français de Barcelone), English (Proficiency level (University of Cambridge); and does perfectly well in German (Mittelstufe II – Goethe Deutsche Institut). She is an author of thoughtful catalogues and artists’ tomes, has been the specialised cultural columnist in art for the La Mañana newspaper (2007-2008), and has commissioned several international collective and personal exhibitions in Italy, Mexico, Miami and Spain from 2007 until the present day.
